Frequently asked questions
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: We love your little ones, however, we are only able to accommodate our immediate families’ children at our wedding events. If you would like to bring your children to Italy with you, along with care – such as parents – please reach out and we can help discuss accommodation options!
Q: Can I bring a plus-one?
A: Due to the capacity of our reception venue, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you have specific concerns or queestions, please reach out to Erin and Ryan. Thank you for understanding!
Q: How will the transportation work from Agriturismo Belegaggio and Tenuta Santo Pietro to Duomo di Pienza?
A: Shuttles will move between both accommodations and the town of Pienza for the wedding ceremony, as there is not ample parking in Pienza. Please do not drive your own car to Pienza. If you are not staying at either of these accommodations, please arrange to catch shuttle from either location.
Q: How will the transportation work between Agriturismo Belegaggio and Tenuta Santo Pietro?
A: Aside from the wedding ceremony itself, all festivities will take place at Agriturismo Belagaggio. The sites are 8 minutes apart. We ask that guests carpool between sites as much as possible. There is ample free parking at both sites. On the night of the ceremony, we will have a driver on call to transport guests back to Tenuta Santo Pietro starting at 10 p.m. so that you do not have to worry about alcohol intake.
Q: Can I bring outside food?
A: Both Agriturismo Belegaggio and Tenuta Santo Pietro will provide complimentary breakfast for all guests. All other meals during your stay will be provided as part of the wedding. However, you are welcome to bring outside snacks or venture into Pienza during downtime for a bite. We hope you never go hungry during these four days 😊
Q: Are the events indoors or outdoors?
A: Weather permitting, all events will take place outside on Belagaggio’s beautiful estate. If the weather puts our attire at risk, we’ll move inside to one of Belagaggio’s indoor venues.
Q: Do the rooms have air conditioning?
A: Yes! Italy in August can be quite hot, so rest assured that rooms do come equipped with AC. Most of our events will take place outside, but not during the heat of the day. Pools at both accommodations will be free and open for our guests' use during down time. Please note that the church may not have AC. We will provide fans for guests and encourage you to dress in summer cocktail attire - light, airy, linen fabrics that do well in heat and keep you comfortable.
Q: What is dress code?
A: We want our guests to be comfortable and not worried about attire! We encourage summer cocktail attire to the pizza party, black-tie optional to the wedding and reception, and casual summer wear to the pool party and BBQ.
Q: Does Erin have any thoughts or advice on the dress code for women?
A: Girls, I gotchu - see Pinterest board for inspo. Also, been loving Nuuly clothing rental lately if you want some fun fits you wouldn't wear otherwise.
Think bright/warm Tuscan color palette, light, airy, fabrics to stay cool. We are opting for an elevated laid back look.
Q: I have a question not listed here. Who should I ask?
A: Text or call Erin or Ryan! We understand this is a big ask and want nothing more than to help make the process as simple as possible for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out with additional questions or if you need to talk through your plans!
